Hot Shot Lemonade (Cold Buster)

This is how I battle colds ALL year round. With seven kids it is a MUST. My older girls make this when they feel a cold coming on. It just yummy. 

Hot Shot Lemonade (Cold Buster)
64 oz purified water
5 lemons peeled and juiced
1 tsp cayenne pepper or more if you like it hotter. I use 2 tsp but is has a real kick.
1/2-1 tsp ginger
6 packets of Stevia
Mix all ingredients and keep in refrigerator.

Kale/Pear Cooler

Kale/Pear Cooler 

This juice is a refreshing cool drink. The pear gives the kale a smooth taste. The lemon brightens it up just right. 

Ingredients:

2 handfuls of baby kale
1 head of celery
2 pears
1/2 cucumber
1 kiwi
1/2 lemon (peeled leaving pithy part)
Directions:
Wash all ingredients. Run through juicer and enjoy. 


Sweet Hottie (carrot, bell pepper juice)

Sweet Hottie

Ingredients
12 carrots
3 bell peppers (red, orange, yellow)
4 apples (cored)
1 pear
1 lemon peeled leaving pithy part
3-4 tsp cayenne pepper
Directions
Wash and prepare all produce. Run all ingredients thru juicer. Mix in cayenne pepper depending on how hot you like it.

This recipe made 5 16oz bottles of juice. Flash freeze bottles for 30 and enjoy within 24 hours.

Sweet and Hot Carrot Juice. Great source of beta-carotene, vitamin C and fiber.
